HR draws each work site on the map with a radius. A punch inside the circle is accepted at once.
A punch from outside — field visits, client sites — goes to HR for approval with its location, instead of being lost or silently accepted.

Each phone is linked to its employee, and the app can be opened with fingerprint or face unlock.

Biometric machine import

Export the punch log from your biometric device as CSV or text and import it. You set the column layout and date format once per device; WorkPilot matches employee codes, pairs in and out punches, and works out late arrival, early leaving and overtime from each person's shift. GPS and biometric punches can be used together — office staff on the machine, field staff on the app.

Shifts, rosters and night duty

Shift masters with start and end time, grace minutes and overtime rules.
A weekly roster planner, and shift swap requests between staff with approval.
Night shifts that cross midnight are counted correctly — hours worked, late marks and overtime.
Holidays and weekly offs are pre-filled, so nobody is marked absent on a day off by mistake.

Daily sheet and monthly register

The daily attendance sheet opens pre-filled with shifts, holidays, weekly offs and approved leave, so HR only fills what is different. The monthly register shows every day for every employee — present, absent, half day, leave, weekly off, holiday, on duty — and the payable days that payroll uses. Days before someone joined or after they left are left blank, so they are never paid by accident.

Corrections, approvals and overtime

Employees ask for a correction (a missed punch, on-duty) from the app; the reporting manager or HR approves it.
Overtime is recorded in minutes and paid through payroll at the rate you set.
Once a month's payroll is verified, its attendance is locked — later changes need a separate, approved request.

Frequently asked questions

Does GPS attendance work without internet?

Yes. If the phone has no network, the punch is saved on the phone with its time and location and sent automatically when the connection returns.

Can employees punch in from home or anywhere else?

A punch is accepted directly only inside the work site's area that HR draws on the map. A punch from outside — for example on field duty — goes to HR for approval with its location, so genuine field work is never lost and misuse is visible.

Is the employee's location tracked all day?

No. The app reads the location only at the moment of punching in or out. There is no background tracking.

Which biometric machines are supported?

WorkPilot imports the punch log that biometric machines export as a CSV or text file. You map the columns and date format once for each device; after that every month's file imports in one step.
